Broadway Danny Rose Woody Allen 1984 USA A bunch of comedians discuss an adventurous tale involving a legend within their industry. A comedy typical of its director, which surprisingly lacks the emotional impact of the love angle; but he's not so much interested in that as he is evoking self-effacing laughs at the expense of himself, or at least the characters he plays, by means of exploring the notion of myths, how they are formed and maintained by word-of-mouth anecdotes.

This was recommended to me be Plawrence over at the GBB boards a while back, still haven't gotten to it. My only real personal contact with him before he passed, unfortunately.
