Public Enemies was fucking trash. What's going on with these filmmakers who have formerly shown promise settling on bland, formulaic garbage appealing to the mainstream? Do they need money?

I watched Heat last night, and found it to be more incredible than ever. It's actually a real detail oriented film, and if you pay attention to all of them, it's quite an experience, and you'll find that the film contains an unbelievable amount of depth.

And it certainly makes PUBLIC ENEMIES in comparison more and more puny.
