I usually hate sitcoms with a burning passion, but I've always enjoyed an episode of this show here or there, and usually, it's always been the one show I'm certain to stop on if I'm channel-surfing. Overtime, I've become infatuated with it, and it's gotten to the point where I am now renting out the entire series on DVD, season by season, until I reach the end, and have seen every episode. Then I am contemplating actually buying the DVD sets for my own collection.
Like I said, I usually fucking hate sitcoms, but I love that this show actually puts at least a bit of edge and originality into their humor. I can't think of any other sitcom to do that successfully since Seinfeld. I also really relate to the character of Eric Forman for several factors to which I just find it completely bizarre.
Any other fans, or am I all alone on this one?

My parents used to love this show, being that were from that generation and all I suppose, and a few of my friends really liked it.
I've caught an episode here and there over the years, and I remember enjoying it.

I haven't ever seen this. Maybe I'll rent it at Blockbuster or something for kicks.
Recently I've been obsessed with Scrubs...any fans of that over here?

Scrubs is histerical. I love it. That 70s Show is better. I don't know, I just really relate to the material, despite not growing up in the 70s.

I understand what you mean. The same way I can relate to Barry Egan in Punch-Drunk Love without ever having to fight four blonde brothers from Utah or beat up a bathroom.

I had no idea!
The show just wouldn't be the same without him, although I wouldn't mind seeing some more focus on Eliott Reid.

As for that 70's Show, I liked its first 2 or 3 seasons. But, I tried watching some later season ones and I found them horrible. The last two seasons were horrible. Too many weird plot twists to cover Ashton Kutcher and Topher Grace's asses for leaving the show. The first four or five were hilarious in my opinion, the sixth was pretty good, seventh was ok, and the eighth shouldn't even exist. Speaking of Scrubs though, did anyone see the musical episode last night?
