Is that the only #1 without out 10s? Well, as I have not updated all years yet, I can't be sure, but so far (having updated 2002-2008 as of february 2009), there are some more. Groundhog Day, at my last update, had 53 points from 8 lists, but no #1's, yet it topped the 1993 ranking. Elephant is a tie for first place in 2003, without #1s. I've just finished 2002, where Vendredi Soir is the new number one without 10 points. Alien in 1979 was the same, so I'll look into it for updates soon. Further back (with fewer lists), Touch of Evil is 1958's number one without a 10-score, as is Wild Strawberries for 1957. And there are some more, so in short, the answer to your question is no

Haha He may have confused it with another 'B' movie, "Broken Flowers", which is in my #3 spot where he thought "Batman Begins" was. It's all good. Doing lists and statistics like this over and over again can make the wires in your mind cross over sometimes. He only comes around once a year, but when he does, he does fine work!
