I'm going to wait about a week to post this list. That's when I should be getting Peter Weir's "Fearless" in the mail, a film I've wanted to see for a very very long time.

Now that the 90's are wrapping up and we've already completed the 2000's thus far, I'd be interested in doing Top 10 lists for the decades, complied in the same exact fashion. Anyone else up for this?

I wish people wouldn't post a list until they've seen a minimum of 20 films from the year in question. It really would help root out the crap in a few of the lists, which seem to be there just to make up the numbers.

It really would help root out the crap in a few of the lists, which seem to be there just to make up the numbers. Some of us are only 18 years of age and only have about a solid 2 years or so of intense film watching under our belts as well as having a full load of college work to do. If you're going to ask that I've seen at least 20 quality films from each and every year of the 90's before posting a list, I'll see you in 5 years.

I dont plan on ever making a list that is longer than half the amount of movies Ive seen that year (so if Ive seen 12, the list will be 6 max until further notice)

That's very mathematical. You don't consider quality at all?
I'm going precisely by how many good movies I've seen from each year.

Updated.
I'm of two minds about omitting The Nightmare Before Christmas, but I actually haven't seen it in over 13 years and can barely remember anything other than it being very, very good. I bought it a while ago, though, so I'll rewatch it soon.
