By the way, StarChaser: The Legend of Orin is an animated movie my brother and I used to rent regularly when we were kids. I then found it in the rapidly shrinking VHS section of our local video store a few years ago and we watched it again. It's a Star Wars clone, but it's actually much darker and creepier than that film, with colonies of subterranean slaves and a kind of a Metropolis Moloch thing going on. It might not be better than Witness, but, y'know...

It's funny isn't it that the eighties seem to show the members brancing out into their own personalised tastes... I like it.

Not a great list, but a decent one.
1. Vagabond - Agnes Varda 2. Police - Maurice Pialat 3. Come & See - Elim Klimov 4. Day of the Dead - George A. Romero 5. Hail Mary - Jean-Luc Godard 6. A Zed & Two Noughts - Peter Greenaway 7. Wuthering Heights - Jacques Rivette 8. No End - Krysztof Kieslowski 9. The Angelic Conversation - Derek Jarman 10. A Time to Live and a Time to Die - Hou Hsiao-Hsien
With Scorcese's After Hours and Ray Lawrence's Bliss just missing out.
