I just caught the latest episode. It was god-awful, cringe-worthy. This show has become an embarrassment.
How ironic is it that the very act these guys condemned and ridiculed manifested itself clear as day throughout the very process? That episode was a living, breathing contradiction. Matt and Trey have lost all sense of subtlety, all cleverness, and have their heads so far stuck up their own asses to even realize what's funny anymore. Get these faggots off of my TV.

Aside from that, the first 6 seasons of this show and the full-length feature film were brilliant.

Season 13 is two-for-two in my eyes.
Some serious LOL moments in both new episodes.
"Mickey will return to Valhalla to slumber and feed."

Who would have known that Clyde was a part-time superhero?

One of my favorite episodes (I haven't watched nearly as many of you guys) is when the guys spend weeks playing World of Warcraft with no breaks trying to accumulate enough points to take out the douche bag killing everyone. They become part of the game, and though I've never played, when I saw some friends playing, my advice was to hide out in the woods for a few weeks and kill enough boars until you accumulate enough points to compete. Which is COMPLETELY absurd and pointless, but it's a lazy way to go. And of course, then when I saw the episode and Cartmen recommended the SAME thing that I did, I nearly lost my load in laughter. 'Hey you guys, we can just hang in the woods and kill boars.'

The Jonas Bros episode was hilarious and so true. I was just with my little girl cousins and they watch the Disney Channell all day. That shit is awful.
Coon episode was aight but could've shit on the dark knight a lot more than it did.

I'm sure they enjoyed it on some level but they were definitely making fun of how corny it was.

I'm sure they enjoyed it on some level but they were definitely making fun of how corny it was. Or just pissing on it because of their anti-authoratative stance in mocking everything. You know, I saw their 300 parody episode before I actually saw 300, and that is a reason probably why I couldn't take 300 seriously at all, (entertainment-wise/intellectually/stylistic) because I kept thinking: "They were getting tired so they...made COFFEE!" *slow motion*

3 for 3 now.
The economy episode works on so many levels of hilarious social commentary I don't even know where to begin. It's perfect.

Thumbs down. Did not like.
It repeats the mantra of individual consumer responsibility for the economic crisis that's coming strategically, veiled and not-so-veiled, from the political representatives of the capitalist class (those actually responsible).

They were just making fun of the idea of the economy as a tangible force in people's minds (similar to God) when in reality it's just made up of people, and created by people.

But not controlled by people (as it should be).
They ridiculed the idea that reckless, irresponsible financial speculation by the wealthy elite is the cause of this collapse, and obviously lent their support to the theory that it's the fault of the working people who wanted things they couldn't afford and jumped at the opportunity to have them. Fuck that poisonous shit.

the idea of the economy as a tangible force in people's minds (similar to God) Also, this, ironically, is a hallmark conception of right-wing economics; the notion that The Market has some kind of benificent immanent logic other than that which tends toward monopoly and plutocracy. I just sat stoney-faced through the whole episode. Not amused.
