I'm afraid i'm no fan of the mammoth method mumbler. Of course he has presence but isn't all that barely intelligible mumbling, together with those instances of awkward + demanding behaviour on set just a bit self-centred? Suggests an ego to match his reputation, while to some extent he liked to cultivate the image of the aloof outsider. But one performance i liked a lot is in a film he directed (instead of Kubrick!)- the underrated + fascinating One-Eyed Jacks.

started watching The Chase the other day and was incredibly bored with it early and found myself fucking around on my computer the last hour of it or so. Brando was fine, but I just couldnt stick with the movie.
I really liked Brando, and wish he wouldve worked with a lot more of my favorite directors.
