I know you might have rated them elsewhere, but if you don't mind, please add star ratings to these alongside.

I know you might have rated them elsewhere, but if you don't mind, please add star ratings to these alongside. I haven't used the star ratings for awhile, so it will be rough. But I'll go back and edit it for you.

So they're tonight. Anyone think Gervais will do any shooting jokes at NBC for fucking Conan?

Ha ha. Not pissed, nor surprised, really. The Globes are even more of a popularity contest than the Oscars so I wasn't surprised that the most "popular" (meaning box-office $$$ machines) films in the categories won. I haven't even seen "The Hurt Locker", so is it wrong that I want it to beat the other films? I guess that just goes to show how bad it was for more mainstream u.s. cinema, as I've been corrected on this board already that it was not a bad year, and that most of the gems went under the radar, particularly my radar. Still, Robert Downey Jr. is a joy, and gave a great speech!

Yeah you're right.
I would like to think HURT LOCKER is still the favorite to win, but with AVATAR on pace to sink the boat in a week or two......I'm getting cramps.
Also points to Gervais for saying what everybody has always known: The Globes are bought.
