Let Me Dream Again G. A. Smith 1900 UK A man flirts with a younger woman, then wakes up next to his wife; the two quarrel and make up. Succinct, funny, interesting notion of Cinema's place in dreams and/or illusion. More romance, more desire, more for the audience to relate with: the dream itself men can relate to, perhaps, and the subsequent quarrel in the 'reality' thereafter is common ground, surely, for the intended audience of Cinema back then.
