Criterion is releasing bluray versions of their films.
Of course, they'll be setting the standard for classic releases of essential films for years to come. Warners, for their extensive library, has not released many of those films on bluray and ont a single one of those they have released is a film in black and white. If I'm correct, the new "The Longest Day" bluray is the first black and white film to be released on that format.
The Third Man Bottle Rocket Chungking Express The Man Who Fell to Earth The Last Emperor El Norte The 400 Blows Gimme Shelter The Complete Monterey Pop Contempt Walkabout For All Mankind The Wages of Fear
A great first line, if I do say so myself. "For All Mankind" is a favorite of course, along with "The Third Man". I'd really loveto see these films in the new format. List price is $39.99. Same price as the DVD's from Criterion.
Just throwing that out there.

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover is now a confirmed Criterion release, date unknown. Hopefully Criterion will release some of Greenaway's other, unavailable features too.
