glad to see some people here didnt care much for Spirted Away either. Seen it twice now and something just feels wrong to me...as if the boundaries of the fantasy world it creates are never fully established. This might appeal to me with some types of movies, but it really didnt here. Tried Princess Mononoke and liked it a little more, but not much. Was about to give up on Miyazaki until I saw My Neighbor Totoro, which I fucking loved. Spirted Away Princess Mononoke My Neighbor Totoro

Pretty exciting, both visually and narratively. It's like watching somebody play on a colourful, episodic, nonsensical videogame. (Saw the English language version.)
