Cast Away Who Framed Roger Rabbit? I've seen most of his other films but not recent enough to judge fairly.

The Polar Express was on yesterday during all the family festivities, so I didn't watch it attentively enough to rate it, but wow. The story looked shit, but there was a sequence where a gold ticket blows out of the train, and we follow its progress until it finally makes its way back onto the train. It's a single take, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I'd like to see the film in full just because of that.

The Polar Express was on yesterday ... The story looked shit... I wouldn't say the story is shit, it's just Christmasy. As you pointed out though the animation is reason enough to watch it. I missed being able to see it on IMAX 3-D and regret it.

That way the camera swoops down when the ticket's in freefall due to the wind, only for an eagle to fly down and wisk it off in another direction... Impressive stuff, though the facial animation itself looked awkward and flat at times. I didn't know Hanks played about five or six people, either, until the end credits.

cast away Forrest Gump I doubt if Cast Away will hold its previous rating on a rewatch.
