Now here's someone whose reputation has slipped from the heights of the 50's. But he's now being underrated, i think. Perhaps cos the political subject matter may not be for all tastes or his style appears dated, i'm not sure. A master of composition + choreography as well as montage, a bold experimenter, and his enduring massive influence shouldn't be overlooked.
