maybe if we'd wait for other lists, hoping that Christie gets mentioned at least once, and then decide.
I remember kino saying it could be either way with her role in the other thread. As is obvious, I'm leaning more towards supporting, mainly because the narrative focuses entirely on the husband. so it's not as if Christie has far less screentime or a much less challenging part or anything, I just felt most of the drama lay with Pinsent and not so much with her.
I will keep an eye on this thread and, should it be necessary, make a change just in time before the deadline.

hey svsg, you've seen quite a lot of worthy films. how come you didn't nominate any more actors or actresses? I drew a total blank for actresses. I think I have missed out on all movies where the popular votes are coming for actresses: Juno, I'm not there Eastern Promises la vie en rose Away from her As for actors, the only one I debated in my mind was George Clooney for Michael Clayton. I decided against it as I felt that I am likely to remember Wilkinson after a couple of years and not Clooney. Again I haven't watched Jesse James

At present, there's a clash between Kino's leading female and Pherdy's supporting female: which is Julie Christie? I've solved it.

Bobbyreed: I Don't Want to Sleep Alone is ineligible for this year's retrospective award. So is Syndromes and a Century. If that affects your nominations, you've got half an hour to fix them...

Finished 2 minutes before the fucking deadline. Since I (and the other mods) won't be around properly until tomorrow, you all have until tomorrow morning to post fresh lists. Edited lists won't be counted, though, if they were edited after the deadline. Omar, Papa-Giorgio, and the rest of you, are welcome to post until tomorrow morning GMT (all night for you US folks). I'm just quoting myself, because I had to type most nominations without their full technicalities, and wanted to prove that I've not edited anything above, when I go back and put in the rest of the details. I feel like in the past, for the sake of getting in more nominations, we've included late nomination lists. If Ronnie has something ready to go or anything like that, I'd support it. But this can't be excessive. That's what I think anyway. Fellas?

RRA, get your list in. We'll accept it, if only out of needing more votes. Rambo can burn in hell.
