"The Incredible Shrinking Man" is the scariest film I have ever seen.
I literally had nightmares from it for nine years.

Ah man I remember loving the Incredible Shrinking Man when I was a kid, I had forgotten about it though.

Its amazing how much I remember it, having last seen it about twelve years ago. Scared me then, too!
That scene with him in the park, talking with that midget woman (sorry for the wrong terminology), having thought that he had a vaccine that worked. It was their second meeting, and he noticed he was shorter than her this time.
"Well, can't you see?!?! It's starting again! It's starting ........" (dramatic music, runs away)
That haunted my child mind like nothing else. I'm sure this explains lots of things now.
