Chuck Russell (1952- )1. The Mask (1994) 6/102. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1986) 5/103. Eraser (1996) 3/104. Bless the Child (2000) 2/10The Mask is critically way underrated. It's a really smart film, a whole Scary Movie franchise worth of postmodern parody encapsulated in a single character. And for some reason it never comes up when people are discussing which comic book adaptations most accurately capture the tone and feel of the comics - probably seeing as it was made a half-decade before the rest of them. His Nightmare is as good as the first, maybe better.
