1. The Cable Guy (1996) 6/10
I'm not sure if I saw all of Reality Bites, but I saw most of it. It's not very good.
The above, however, is very underrated.

The Cable Guy is one of those rare comedies that just happens to have a good story.
Zoolander, however, was just hilarious, zany fun. "I'm a mer-man!"

I'm watching "The Cable Guy" right now. I caught it near the beginning, but have never been able to catch the thing in one sitting. It belongs in that small sub-genre of films that feature characters who manage to piss the viewer off completely. Carrey is so annoying, and the scene where he plays 'Password' with Broderick's family makes my blood boil. It's as if Stiller's trying to make his version of "The King of Comedy". He certainly has a lot to say about America's addiction to television, and it comes two years before Weir's similar proclamations in "The Truman Show", also starring Carrey. Interesting.
I remember being disappointed in "Reality Bites", but in retrospect, I'm not sure what I could have been expecting. I own it, so maybe I'll re-watch it one day.
"Zoolander" has always been a guilty pleasure for me, ever since I was one of the few people who saw it in the theaters. It's so silly, and the spoofs and cameos are wonderful.

"Hey, you should listen to your friend Billy Zane. He's a cool guy."
I still consider David Bowie to the second most attractive man I've ever seen...next to Finn Andrews.

There's something about Matthew Broderick that reminds me of wetdog.
No idea what it is.

Most of the gags and jokes in "Zoolander" are immature and silly, but some of the sets/costumes are bizarre, and Will Ferrell is excellent, before he became Ron Burgandy, Ricky Bobby, and whoever the fuck else.
