Yeah I've got that one coming up, but like you said there's no Netflix DVD. Gonna have to go to the library. It's nice to have multiple resources.
Pather Panchali that is. I think that's in the trilogy.

Didn't want to hijack the Olmi thread. I bought the Apu trilogy on DVD last week to gift someone. It is available on an all region dvd box set for about $50. I don't know the quality, as I wasn't going to open it anyway.

Capo, you might like Ray's films. Out of the links you've listed, Music Room (Jalsa Ghar) is excellent. If you can get hold of it, try watching the trilogy. Thanks for the links Edit: How can I miss it - You'll love "Distant Thunder", given your liking for films on social conditions and social analysis!
