A pretty dull and conservative list if you ask me. No idea how so many people are fooled into thinking Hunger is brilliant by the admittedly impressive aesthetic. Are they only picking films that gained a release in the UK or something?

Are they only picking films that gained a release in the UK or something? Yeah, it's any film (and they usually include re-releases of restorations) released in the UK in 2008.

It must include festival runs too, since I don't think Let the Right One In is out until next April or something.

Maybe it's only films that play at the festival in London then because there's surely a lot of good stuff missing from the list.
