I'm not a huge fan of the Czech New Wave, seen a few and although most of them are good (a couple are very good), i find them a little bit slight and obvious, not as involving as a lot of late 60s cinema for me. I am interested in the one you've mentioned though.

I would agree so far, DOTN and Daisies are the only two I consider masterpieces. Haven't seen anything by Jires and only one by Menzel and Passer.
I started watching the one you listed but the quality was unbearable. I would be surprised if you don't rate DOTN.

Yeah i don't know when i'll get to see it though. Daisies is the only masterpiece for me, nothing else i've seen comes close and Jires is over-rated. Late August at the Hotel Ozone is interesting though and the Forman ones are quite good.
