Well, I live in a country where there's no Netflix and directors like Bresson, Powell, Kramer, Marker or Weerasethakul do not exist in the dvd market. BUT WE GOT MANIAC!!!! ;D

Well, I just think that Maniac Cop 2 was a lot funnier and over the top than the first one and that's exactly what fits to a movie with a title like that. .

Saw MANIAC COP 3, the one that Lustig "co-directed" (i.e. fired in production by producer, who took over.)
Even if this wasn't in mind, COP is forgettable compared to the previous entries, and never answers a core question for me: Why did anyone want to make this besides paying off some dental bills?
