Dreadful!
Trite, vacuous and self-indulgent beyond measure. A near-plotless slice of a wealthy douchebag's life, arranged around a cynical compilation of celebrity cameos and corporate product placements. A story whose moral is no more than a fatuous cliché: one can't replace personal relationships with material possessions! - a suffering exclusively beset upon the privileged, it must be noted. Adam Sandler putting on a nerve-shredding accent half the time for no conceivable reason. It is OVER TWO AND A HALF HOURS LONG and utterly devoid of substantive content.
Dear Mr Apatow, Go back to high-concept comedy; your pat life lessons and myopic, conservative 'family values' dramatic tendencies can be forgiven or overlooked when your films are somewhat funny.
