The Passion of Joan of Arc Carl Dreyer 1928[/size] A pleasant surprise. A little bit repetitive for me, and the championed Falconetti performance wasn't much to speak of, but Dreyer's talent was clearly evident. Although I must note, I doubt I'd like the film nearly as much if it weren't for the powerful musical score, added years after the original release.
