Spider-Man 2002 Directed by Sam Raimi Spider-Man 2 2004 Directed by Sam Raimi When high school outcast Peter Parker is bitten by a "super-spider", he starts to change in ways most teenagers don't. He has powers, and takes on the role of "friendly neighborhood Spider-Man", and battles The Green Goblin and Doc Ock, while dealing with regular issues like the woman he loves and his best friend's plot of revenge on Spider-Man. My brother and I watched both of the Spiderman's yesterday. I think they're equally great, entertaining movies. The one guy my brother and I especially love is the over-the-top newspaper editor, barking out his demands in his comfortable office. He's one of many humorous sidekicks to these movies. There's a terrific balance between drama, action, and comedy in these movies. I'm looking very forward to the third one in 2007.

Spiderman 2 did have some really great comedic moments. I really commend Raimi for succeeding in that area.
