Just saw Episode One on youtube, and I hope to finish downloading some more from Soulseek this afternoon.
Anyone else seen any of these?

Yesss... it's great. It's incorporated into Inland Empire, too.

How so? That makes me even more excited.
And sorry for putting it in the Web category...I'd thought that it was an internet only thing.

As far as I understand it, Rabbits is a sitcom some of the characters in Inland Empire watch on TV. I'm wondering if it's a restaging of it or an actual incorporation of some of the original footage.

The episode I saw on youtube seemed to be a sitcom of some sort. With the dialogue in strange places, and a really disturbing laugh track.
Is Inland Empire going to be in theatres? Or is it a straight to DVD release? I've heard both from different people.

All eight episodes are basically the same thing, with the sitcom set and the canned laughter, the fractured dialogue.
Inland Empire is getting a theatrical release, but it'll probably be severely limited. According to Wikipedia it should be out this week in New York and next week in Los Angeles, and the DVD is out in June.

Hm.
Once the episodes are done downloading, I'll get the full experience.

By the way: what P2P network do you use to download movies? Soulseek is great for music, but so much for film...

Rabbits is fantastic. Unnerving, disturbing, genuinely unsettling. I'm lost for words to describe it. By what I've seen, it looks like original footage in Inland Empire.

How much d'you think Inland Empire will cost...for the DVD? I'm guessing around forty-forty five bucks.
But then again, it could cost two hundred dollars and I would buy it.

You know if I saw RABBITS in high school, I would have made the foolish mistake of trying to interpret it.

Haha, I still make that foolish mistake.
