How close are those in style to La jetée and Sans soleil, do you know?

For £1.99: And, since my Dad is making his way through replacing his small VHS collection with DVDs, I bought this for him last week:

Just a heads up: Best Buy is giving away a free ticket to either Traitor or Righteous Kill with a purchase of any DVD. My brother picked up Reservoir Dogs for $4, and got the ticket, which usually costs $7.50 - $8. So it's a pretty good deal. Make sure your movie theater uses it. If you can't find that out, just ask me which theater you plan on going to. I know AMC Theaters isn't participating.

Over the last week I've bought the following on pirate DVD, all decent quality bar the last (but for £1 each, who cares either way?): There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, PU-239, WALL-E, The Strangers, Eastern Promises, Rescue Dawn, Gone Baby Gone and Michael Clayton.
Just doing my bit for terrorism. Viva la Kurdish Rebels.

I just pre-ordered Black God, White Devil and bought Marketa Lazarová. Last week I bought Eureka, the Naruse MoC box, Made in USA, and Paris Belongs to Us.

Today I bought some decent speakers for my laptop, so thought I'd also buy Heat, one of the best films I can think of to test bass and clarity.

I just noticed the similarities in the Niandra LaDes album cover and the Andrei Rublev cover.
