I wanted to go back further too, but got sidetracked with wanting to compile threads on most films I've seen...

I think we should at least make the threads. They dont need to be updated as often as you were updating them, that had to be tiring. Maybe once a year would be just fine

I'm not ranking all the films anymore. It's ridiculous. I just end up spending loads of time deciding whether Worthless Film X is more or less worthless than Worthless Film Y.
I'll just post all the films I've seen with ratings to give the top ten a frame of reference.

I can't believe you've switched Twyker and Nolan round. I see what you did by ranking them alphabetically...

It's really neck-and-neck there. Rewatches will sort it out, I'm sure.

When do we start the awards? 1. United 93 (Greengrass) 2. Babel (Iñárritu) 3. The Departed (Scorsese) 4. The Prestige (Nolan) 5. The Illusionist (Burger) 6. Borat (Charles) 7. A Scanner Darkly (Linklater) 8. Lucky Number Slevin (McGuigan) 9. Bobby (Estevez) 10. Miami Vice (Mann) Christ, this list is embarrassing now.

Seriously man, wtf, V for Vendetta showed at ONE festival in DECEMBER 2005, it then showed EVERYWHERE ELSE in the world in 2006, and yet we're considering it 2005. That just doesn't make sense to me. I mean I'm not gonna launch a protest here but it's just annoying.

We're just going by IMDb dates. We tried it other ways, it's impossible. Release dates differ all over the world, and lots of movies never go to cinemas. Ideally there'd be some definitive resource that'd list the one-and-only completion date for each movie, but alas...
