24. What movie would you most like to see in the theater? Stalker
25.What is the best movie to watch with a girl that you can tolerate and even enjoy? I've been watching tons of films lately with my girlfriend and it's been nothing but a joy. We watched The Weeping Meadow together and it was amazing. So I guess that would be my answer.
26.What movie do you most want to see that you just haven't been able to find anywhere? Can't think of anything right now...
27.What movie would you repeatedly be forced to watch over and over in hell? The Untouchables
28.What movie is terrible but still nearly brings tears to your eyes during the climax? Carandiru. I also saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button recently, and although I didn't think it was complete shit, I didn't think it was great by any means, yet I was still touched by the ending.

39. Name a movie with great concept, Shit/Mediocre execution: SCANNERS 40. Best movie you've found in DVD bargain bin? The Stanley Kubrick Collection, $10 41. Any TV movie worth recommending to FCM? Cliche pick is Spielberg's DUEL. I'll instead pick Nicholas Meyer's impactful THE DAY AFTER. 42. Favorite Film Soundtrack, Not necessarily limited to Singular Composer? PINK FLOYD THE WALL wouldn't count, would it? If not, then for shits and giggles, Queen's FLASH GORDON. 43. Of the Top 10 Box-Office Champions of All-Time, the Best movie of the bunch? www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/THE DARK KNIGHT 44. The worst? first HARRY POTTER 45. Name an obscure filmmaker that FCM doesn't cover/discuss/review enough? Larry Cohen

32. Favorite 007 movie? Probably On Her Majesty's Secret Service. 33. Favorite Bond actor? Connery. 34. Dead filmmaker you most wish was still alive and making movies? Derek Jarman. 35. Great Actor with stalled/never-realized career that you just don't understand why? Can't think of any. 36. The greatest event/story for cinema in this decade? I really don't know. 37. Name a good movie you discovered by accident? I'm not sure how much of an accident it was now, but I suppose I recorded The French Connection on a blind whim. Also, a few films I caught at a regional film festival in 2005, which I only saw because I'd bought the festival pass and wanted my money's worth. Whether or not they're any good, they floored me at the time: Bleeder, King's Game, Dark Horse, The Wedding, The West Wittering Affair; I saw those right back at the beginning of this thread. Oh, and I saw Lost In Translation when it was first released because two friends and I went to the pics on Valentine's Day thinking some film I've now forgotten had come out, only to find it wasn't getting released till later that month. So I recommended that we see Lost In Translation, much to my delight and their pleasant surprise. 38. Last 30 years, the best of the "Best Picture" Oscar winners?Of the ones I've seen, Unforgiven or Gladiator. 39. Name a movie with great concept, Shit/Mediocre execution: The first answer that comes to me is "most". I guess you'd have to look at a lot of mediocre directors who take on (or are given) interesting projects, like Ron Howard. 40. Best movie you've found in DVD bargain bin? I was buying the entire Chaplin Collection DVD, separately at £3.99 each, when standing on the paydesk was Heimat at £9.99. I blushed with excitement, bought it and walked out of the shop sweating, as if I'd stolen it. 41. Any TV movie worth recommending to FCM? I've seen a few of the Play for Today films, which are good. 42. Favorite Film Soundtrack, Not necessarily limited to Singular Composer? My favourite score is possibly Herrmann's, for Taxi Driver. I love Ghost Dog's soundtrack. Take It Or Leave It is cheating. 43. Of the Top 10 Box-Office Champions of All-Time, the Best movie of the bunch?Probably Titanic. Too bad Jurassic Park's #11. 44. The worst? Shrek 2, though I've not seen either Pirates sequel or any of the Harry Potter films. 45. Name an obscure filmmaker that FCM doesn't cover/discuss/review enough? I'd like somebody to come along and tell me more about several East Asian filmmakers, of whom I'm largely and frightfully ignorant; somebody like Parajanov, too. I'd like some decent contextualisation of his films.
